Sport takes priority again - Escamillo's fresh semen mission ends

Breeding took priority for four years. But now Escamillo, who is stationed at the Schockemöhle stallion station, is set to earn merits in sport again. The eye-catching son of Escolar, who won silver and bronze at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses under his Spanish trainer Manuel Dominguez Bernal, was in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Pokal and won his Inter II debut, has prospect of really big championships. For this reason, Escamillo is only available until Friday, 16th May 2025 via fresh semen.
It was thanks to the commitment of Paul Schockemöhle that Escamillo, who owned by US-American Kimberly Slous, returned to breeding after winning silver at the 2021 World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses in Verden/GER. Until then, the premium stallion of Hanoverian licensing, stallion performance test winner under Helen Langehanenberg and Weltmeyer prize winner had only covered for a short time. However, his first offspring left no doubt about the outstanding power of this bay Rhineland stallion, who was bred by Carolin Langhorst and goes back to famous Wendeln performance dam line of Cinderella.
Escamillo already has more than 40 licensed sons, including the Bundeschampion and Oldenburg champion, two-time stallion performance test record winner and main premium winner Escanto PS and Extreme U.S., stallion performance test and Pavo Cup winner in the Netherlands, and Expectation PS, serial winner in tests for young dressage horses. All three were bred by Paul Schockemöhle. Eivissa, two-time Bundeschampion and Westphalian champion, stands out among the numerous successful offspring.
However, breeders can obtain excellently prepared Escamillo frozen semen from the Schockemöhle breeding station.
