New in Ireland: StrideHorse.Auction

Ireland welcomes a new horse auction: the online StrideHorse.Auction, taking place from June 17 to 20. The initiative comes from Ronan Rothwell of Boleybawn Horses in Wicklow. Rothwell has previously hosted online auctions featuring his own foals, broodmares and young showjumping horses, but has now expanded the concept.
“After successful online sales, other Irish owners began asking if they could also enter their horses. That’s how StrideHorse.Auction was born, featuring horses raised and produced in Ireland and carefully selected,” says Ronan Rothwell.
“Our first collection includes ten horses, one of which is a pregnant mare. It’s a small group, but we’re presenting a very strong lineup. From promising young jumpers to talented horses with show experience.”
This new platform offers Irish breeders, owners and producers the opportunity to present their horses to a global audience. Many of the horses have already been viewed or tried and interest is growing as the bidding dates approach. All horses have undergone comprehensive veterinary examinations.
