About Hoofbeat Online

Hello, and welcome.

I’m Hanna, and Hoofbeat Online is my corner of the internet, created for fellow riders, breeders, dreamers, and quiet observers of the horse world.

I’ve spent most of my life in the company of horses. I’ve ridden, mucked, groomed, raised foals, studied bloodlines, trained, cheered from the sidelines, and sometimes just stood still and listened. Horses have taught me more than any classroom ever could, about rhythm, patience, risk, responsibility, and how to pay close attention.

This blog began as a side project, and I almost called it quits, but the truth is, I couldn’t walk away from it. It kept calling, because there’s still so much to say.

Hoofbeat Online is where I write about the things that matter in the horse world:
• Equestrian sport, from eventing to dressage and show jumping
• Horse breeding, bloodlines, and training approaches
• Stable life, rural rhythms, and the quieter parts of this calling

It’s a little bit editorial, a little bit observational, and always grounded in real experience.

Before this, I for one worked as an equestrian photographer, a skill I still use to capture the fleeting moments horses are so good at creating. But for now my real work is here: telling stories that keep the tradition of horsemanship alive while also asking what the future should look like.
